Fifth-grade math teacher Lynn Kollar is one of seven winners, nationwide, of the The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Foundation Educator Achievement Award. The AIAA Foundation presents the Educator Achievement Award every two years to precollege educators who have demonstrated exemplary efforts in exciting K-12 students about the study of mathematics, science, and related technical studies and preparing them to use and contribute to tomorrow's technologies.
We're honored that Lynn chose us to create her portrait that will be showcased when she formally receives her award at the AIAA Aerospace Spotlight Awards Gala on May 13, 2009. in Washington, DC.
