Each year, the National Association for Female Executives (NAFE) panel of judges scrutinizes scores of nominations in search of women who exemplify success in five categories: advancement, entrepreneurship, mentoring, professional achievement, and community service. With so many accomplished applicants, the choice is simultaneously challenging and inspiring.
We're thrilled to announce that NAFE has recognized Joan Rudder-Ward as their 2006 Woman of Excellence in Community Service for her photography enrichment program for adolescent girls "Being the Me I was Created To Be" (part of the Let there Be light-Photography with a purpose series)
As an added honor, she was featured on the cover of the NAFE magazine!
NAFE is the largest women's professional association and the largest women business owners' organization in the country.
